The transformation of Ogden Regional’s Radiology Department was marked by a thoughtful multi-phase remodel that renovated and expanded the Interventional Radiology (IR) room and introduced a mobile CT procedure room with a shared Control area. The project also added a Fluoroscopy Radiology room and a standard X-Ray room. A key enhancement was the reconfiguration of the staff workflow, creating distinct entrances for the IR and Radiology staff, fostering improved efficiency. This strategic revamp elevated the operational dynamic and contributed to an enriched patient experience by incorporating new interior finishes across the department. Construction activities were kept separate from active imaging spaces using dust containment barriers, and the IR function was temporarily provided in a remote mobile trailer on the hospital campus.
