The Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley West (formerly Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus) Cath Lab project relocated existing Cath Lab services to a new location across the hall where a chapel and small waiting room had been. The new Lab upgraded many aspects of the former room including new imaging equipment with the latest technology and greater mobility of the C arm around the patient to optimize procedures. The lab has 50% more storage in the room in addition to a dedicated storage room. The project included a Control Room, Ante Room and Reading Room, which previously were shared spaces or didn’t exist in the former location. The finishes and details of the Cath Lab were designed to feel modern, clean and comfortable while meeting all performance requirements and standards. The flooring incorporates a pattern that defines the radiation zone when the imaging system is in use to help keep staff safe.
